Evaluation of a public intervention by groups, organisations or communities which participate directly in its implementation. It is usually complementary to other forms of expert or external evaluations. Self evaluation is especially suited to assist managers, promoters and immediate stakeholders improve their own performance and steer their programmes in the course of implementation.
