Today since children come across technological appliances like tablets, mobile phones, computer in early age they have serious negative impacts related to physical, psychological and social problems besides values. If children busy themselves with these technological tools for a long time, they become unhappy, impatient, aggressive, intolerable, and ill-tempered.

. Knitting as one of traditional handcrafts was realized practically with the chosen 5th grade students in order to bring to light our human values that are passing into oblivion. Since knitting has really many positive impacts on people. Children who are knitting feel happy, peaceful, calm and relieved; besides during and after knitting activity their concentration level increases and they feel proud, also they become mutually more tolerable and sensible so their valuable attitudes as it has been emphasized above develop. Students also produce two kinds of products as scarves, pencil boxes with this activity. They felt proud and enjoyed via presenting these products that they produced as hand work to their friends from other classes so they internalized the amazing feeling of giving a gift to someone as one of our marvelous values.  

We believe if we initiate these kinds of projects to be implemented in our schools, we will be able to succeed to make our students distract serious negative impacts of technology on children so we can enrich our students with crucial values all over.

Mobile Application to detect battery powered/electrical wheel chairs charging stations

  This developed mobile application programme is prepared for physically handicapped people to reach the closest wheelchair charging station easily and fleetly from the place they are in order to make physically handicapped people’s life easier. The mobile programming was prepared in Hybrid language and during the preparation process it was benefited from the html5, JavaScript, .NET and MsSql Server libraries on the application   Adobe Phone gap / Cordova. Also, this application has a web-based control panel. The application could be downloaded free from Google Store for Android systems. Today this programme could be reachable for all physically handicapped people for the sake of actively used mobile phones. In the content of the application, it could be possible to find the closest charging station. Besides, it would be possible to inform inactive charging station and remove this inactive station from the system. It can be possible to take the address of the stations from Yandex maps. At the same time, it was designed to be developed by all the users with smart learning. Owing to this feature, new stations could be included in the database easily. This application presents the opportunity to upload the station that the users realize to the system at once if they also detect the inexact station they can inform the system about this station. By means of technology, the application could keep itself up-to-date in the world that the needs could be changeable at any time.

MOBİL İNSANLAR İÇİN ALTERNATİF ENERJİ KAYNAĞI STRES ÇARKI HAREKETİNDEN ÜRETİLEN ELEKTRİK İLE MOBİL CİHAZLARIN ŞARJ EDİLMESİ

Enerji kavramı ve enerji kaynakları dünden bugüne kadar en önemli konular içinde yer almaktadır. Özellikle şehirleşmenin ve teknolojik gelişmelerin getirdiği yeni yaşam tarzı bireyleri önemli bir elektrik tüketicisi haline getirmiştir. Tüketimin bu derece yoğun arttığı elektrik piyasasında üretim tarafı bu artışı karşılamak için sürekli yeni kaynak bulma ve yatırım ihtiyacı içine girmektedir. Söz konusu kaynaklar (yenilenebilir kaynaklar dahil) sınırsız ve sorunsuz değildir. İnsanların günlük yaşantısında en azından temel ihtiyaçları için gerekli elektriği alternatif kaynaklardan sağlaması mümkün olursa klasik üretim kaynaklarına yatırım ihtiyacı azalacaktır. Bu çerçevede, sürekli hareket halinde olmayı seven ve bu süreçte de iletişim kaynaklarından kopmak istemeyen bireyler için hareket enerjisini yine kendi ihtiyaçları için kullanılabilir bir elektrik enerjisine dönüştürebilecek çözümler üzerinde çalışılmalıdır. Buna örnek olarak stres çarkı dönme hareketinin yarattığı kinetik enerjiyi bir dinamo vasıtasıyla elektrik enerjisine dönüştüren ve bir enerji depolama ünitesi aracılığıyla veya doğrudan mobil iletişim cihazlarının şarj edilebilmesi sağlayan bir tasarım üzerinde çalışma yapılmıştır. Uygun malzeme ve ara bağlantılar yardımıyla verimli olarak kullanılabilir hale getirilmesi durumunda söz konusu tasarımın insanların hem merkezi elektrik kaynaklarından yaptığı tüketimi azaltması hem de mobil halde elektrik kaynağı aramak sıkıntısını ortadan kaldırması açısından faydalı görülmektedir.

Some innovative technologies can make a big dent in our water usage and our water bills. Smart homes give us insights that help us conserve energy, water, and resources. The idea is to design smart homes to reduce the burden on resources, by using them as efficiently as possible. Reservoirs and pipelines were rebuilt, and systems were designed to pump water to our homes.

Dentepate

Workshop photos also published on WYRED platform. This innovative system looked at the consumption of drinking water while brushing teeth. The solution is a device that optimises the amount of water used and, at the end of the mouth wash, separates waters from other waste products (e.g. toothpaste)
